Are you the strongest or the weakest in the room?
-On choosing the right room- I can’t always make the weightlifting class I prefer. Occasionally, I attend one that’s geared toward older adults. The Comparison That Matters

Starting where you are
Recently, I taught a friend how to play a game I love. She was willing to jump in and give it a try, and I was struck by her willingness to look a little clueless. Watching her reminded me that learning something new requires a bit of bravery. At the beginning, there was only her  stuff. Full on tunnel vision.
